To say that Merel and Reiner have embraced the chill kiwi way of life is an understatement and their delightfully relaxed wedding day was a total testament to that. They are both originally from the Netherlands and have spent the last few years making New Zealand their home. So with half the guests traveling from the other side of the world to celebrate their union, this breathtaking location was an epic venue choice. A destination wedding at home! Orua Beach House is an absolutely breathtaking hilltop wedding venue on the Coromandel’s east coast. It was the perfect spot for these two adventurers to wed. It was so cool to spend the day hanging out with their ear to ear smiles and infectious laughter. Even if it felt the wind would blow us all off the point as Merel walked down the isle, the day was quintessential NZ summer and I’m sure they wouldn’t have had it any other way. Plus who doesn’t love a good windswept wedding photo 😉 Happy scrolling! x
